Anti-France Demonstrations...
Are taking place now.
Scott bin Ritter, Part 3...
Good news! Scott bin Ritter has been un-invited from SCCC! Score
one for the good guys!

UPDATE - 3:41 PM - A little bad new sto even things out. Apparently,
Scott bin Ritter gets to keep the dough, even though he's not appearing.
Oh, well, can't win 'em all.
Just Add Water, Part 2...

Michele, over at A Small Victory (scroll down possibly), has a long spiel
decrying the evils of homophobia.

Sad that most Catholic leaders don't even oppose most of the opinions
espoused (no pun intended) in this article.

I'm A Greedy Pig...
Soon, I'll be adding a PayPal donations button. Right now, there''s really
nothing here that is worth donating to; if someone gave me money tomorrow,
I'd send it back. This is just a future consideration, in case someone starts
reading/liking this blog someday.
Notice...
I'm going to be out tomorrow from 8-11AM. Have to take
the Terra Nova test at school. It's a replacement for the
older Iowa Test of Basic Skills. I was part of the 8th grade
pilot group last year. Hopefully, now that they have the scoring
sorted out, the results will come back a little quicker.
Scott bin Ritter, Part 2...
Just heard that bin Ritter is now under Federal investigation. Wow, SCCC has
really lowered its standards as of late. Perhaps this is a form of protest to Pataki's
proposed SUNY tuition increase? And to think, 2 of my sisters went to SCCC. The Horror!
Scott bin Ritter...
Seems Scott bin Ritter has been invited to speak at a local college ( I think
it is SCCC), and they're paying him $4000 bucks for it! 4 February 2003 is
the date. Courtesy of Radio 810 WGY, and the Scott Alan Miller show.

Balint Vazsonyi, American...
Most people would love to be called an American Hero. Here's a guy
who found it an honor just to be an American.
Yay!...
Posts are showing up now. One of 'em might
as well not have. I think you can figure out which.
Something's Screwy...
My last two posts didn't show up right. Wonder why?
Out Shovelin'...
Going to be gone for at least a half hour, have to shovel snow from the driveway.
Monday's Meal...
I've been eating some things called Taquito's. They're shredded beef wrapped
in some sort of soft corn tortilla. One word - TASTY! They're loaded up in fat
and calories, but I don't care. Sort of anti-health food. But tasty. I'm thinking this
may become a weekly feature here - I'll bring you guys news of something that
tastes real good, is (preferably) microwaveable, and would make some health guru
cringe, shrivel and die right on the spot! Think of it as the perfect weapon against
the evils of Crunchy Conservatism.
Rush! How Could You!...
Tuned into Rush Limbaugh on WGY a few minutes ago. Seems he's got a guy subbing
in for him, as he's on vacation. D'oh! Oh well, at least the guy who's there sounds pretty
good. Suppose you can't blame a guy for going on vacation.
No School!...
I've got most of this week off, as it's January Regents week. You only take
the Regents tests in January if you either failed one of the tests last year,
or if you were absent that day. Since I only had one test to take that year,
and I got a 97% on it, I have nothing to take in January, and thus get most of
this week off. Have to go in Wednesday from 8-11AM to take the Terra Nova test,
similar to the old Iowa tests. Have to go to school Friday, too, as it's the first day of
3rd quarter and everyone has to go. Otherwise, though, I have basically 4 days off.
More time to shoot stuff! I even get to listen to Rush, as I'll be home when his program
is on the air on WGY (that'd be noon to 3).

Church Today, or Just Add Water...
Let me start out by saying that, my parish, St. Joseph's Catholic Church,
is in the process of getting a new pastor. Our old pastor, the widely beloved
Father Ron Mente, got switched to some other parish that was suffering
from an acute case of lack-of-priest. No, don't anyone think that Father Ron
got shuffled around due to abuse of some sort, I knew the man myself, as
he helped me earn the Ad Altare Dei (latin for At the Altar of God) religious
emblem for Boy Scouts, along with two of my friends. I was alone with Father Ron
for vast periods of time and he did nothing inappropriate, so I won't have any of
my readers (someone is reading this, right?) assuming things just 'cuz the Church
as a whole has been having problems as of late. Anyways, we've been having a few hosts priests
over to hold mass until Father Ron's replacement arrives, and none of them any good. The first
looked like Tom Daschle, and called the Holy Family (that'd be Jesus, Mary, and Joseph for
you non-Believers out there) a dysfunctional family. The guy this week, upon mass beginning,
proclaimed himself to be a university priest ( University of Albany I think he said), a bad omen.
For his homily, he shouted that the prophet Jonah didn't really want to convince the people of
Nineveh to repent, he just wanted God to blow up the city. This is the kind of BS being taught in
Catholic seminaries today. God help us all!
Superbowl XXXVII...
About 6 minutes left in the 4th now. Sorry 'bout the absence as of late...
I was at the Klondike Derby yesterday, helping staff the Kabanga event.
For those of you not in the know, the Klondike Derby/ Deep Freeze is an
event run every year by the Boy Scouts of America. I think every local council
has their own. Anyways, Kabanga was a station only accessable to the first
15 sleds to finish the race, where you got to shoot BB guns at targets inside the
dining hall. I helped set up the range, and was a 'coach' to shooters. All in all,
there were about a dozen or so kids helping out (we were selected because we
were members of Venture crews that meet at rifle ranges), along with a smattering
of adults. Back to the Superbowl... the game SUCKED. No two bones about
it, there were very few exciting plays. The commercials weren't even very good. Such is
the life of a Packers fan this year, I suppose.

Sorry...
Didn't have time to post today. Had lotsa stuff that demanded my attention.
School wasn't a blast today, but their was a refreshing lack of blithering
liberal nonsense. Of course, that's not to say none was said, just that I didn't hear
too much of it. The Global9 student-grading debacle continues. Seeya Tomorrow!

Yo, dawg, that tank got gibbed to the izzo, biatch!...
Is this a pathetic attempt by a secluded teen to become more urban-sensitive, or a serious post?
You decide!

Series 1

Series 2

Thanks goes out to Belligerent Bunny Blog .
Scott Pt. 2...
Seems good ol' Mr. Ritter grew up in Delmar, right in my proverbial backyard. He
was tried for his child sex charges even closer, in Albany, but 20 minutes from my
doorstep. To make things worse, someone in the DA's office apparently covered up
his arrest. The local news last night played a clip of file footage, which had been
recorded sometime in 2001 (don't remember what month, but I think it was November)
and was shown back then, but quickly forgotten by the public, probably due to the
DA's office3 covering up the case, as has been discovered recently. More on this
tomorrow night, or tonight if I can, as I hear more on the local stations.
Outrage Du Jour...
My Global9 teacher is letting our grades for a Monument project be determined
by other students in the class. She says that this will eliminate complaints that
the grading was 'unfair' or 'biased'. Apparently, she's forgotten that students aren't
exactly fair and unbiased in their evaluation of other students. This complaint isn't
just theory, either : it's alteady surfaced, before anything's been presented. Why
teachers have to make the classroom a democracy is beyond me; there's nothing
wrong with just teaching us kids. I've noticed that students seem to complain more
during classes run by the more 'open' teachers than when set straight by a teacher that
actually just does his job. I've got Venture tonight, so I'll be able to vent my
frustrations with about 50 rounds of .22LR. The smell of rimfire powder is just wonderful...

Success!...
Looks like the comments system is working. Big thanks to the people at
y-a-w.co.uk for developing the system I use. Now, post, my minions!
Testing... 1... 2... 3...
I'm now testing out a comments system. Not sure if it's going to work. Everyone,
cross your fingers!
Skiing!...
I've had the good luck to go skiing a few times this year. So far, Okemo, Stratton,
Killington, and just this Saturday Mount Snow have been made to bow down to
the wrath of my Head parabolic skis. Over at Killington, I conquered the 'Outer Limits',
the steepest mogul trail in the East! Yee-haw!
Wow, Scott, I Hardly Knew Thee...
Looks like Scott Ritter got brought up on some sort of sexual charges with a 13-year old girl
some years back. If his traitorous nature wasn't enough to sicken people with him, I think
this will. And to think this guy was a Marine. What the hell happenned!
Not dead...

Back from a kinda long hiatus there. Sorry to anyone who reads this. I was temporarily stopped by
some technical issues (read : virus), but I'm here to stay now. I have the day off from school because
of MLK day. Oiled the Ruger, and a leather holster thingy that holds my "Big Chief", a combo tool
that switches from a 4" straight blade to a big ol' hatchet. I'd post a pic if I could find a free web
picture host that allowed for hosted pics to be shown on other pages. If anyone knows, shoot an
e-mail my way if you can.
